January 5, 2008 Hello Everyone! We finally added a few more pictures to our gallery, I am sorry it has taken so long! Please check out the new pictures. Unfortunately, Most of the casinos We play won't allow cameras, so we gotta use what we get at the bars and other gigs! We had a wonderful New Years Eve once again, this time we played up in Badger, Minnesota. It was a very fun crowd! I hope We get to play for them again! Tami Lee and The Lights will be back at Dakota Magic Casino soon! We are very excited to be back there, please come out if You can! Your Pal October 1, 2007 Howdy Gang! I just wanted to drop by and say HELLO! It's been a while, I guess We've been neglecting our Journal responsibilities again! (sorry!) We played The Goose Fest in Middle River, Minnesota last weekend! What a great time! We had giant big crowds both nights, and saw some friends of ours too! Roy and Rocky from the Chute 7 band came in, so did Dan Taus from The 4-Wheel Drive Band! It's always fun to see other musicians! On Saturday afternoon I got to hear the Ramblin' Fever Band again! And I took in some of the other festivities too! Honestly, one of the funnest gigs we've played! We had Jim Beiswenger Jr. play drums for us again, and he did great! Thanks Jim! (Next time, ya gotta sing more!!!) The Shooting Star Casino is coming up again! We are all looking forward to it! Come see us if you can! Hope to see ya soon! Thanks for stopping by!
Your Pal July 30, 2007 Hi, everyone! I hope you are having a beautiful summer! I hope you have had as much fun as me and the Northern Lights! We kicked off the summer up in Thief River Falls at the Vets Club, then we had the honor of entertaining a very special couple in Jamestown at their wedding reception, then it was off to Velva, ND for the rodeo! What fun! Thanks to the fun crowd out at the Lariat. Next, we went down to the Mystic Lake Casino where we always have a good time. We were excited to return to the Dakota Sioux Casino near Watertown, SD. What a nice room to play! The people are always so friendly and we just love that. A very special thank you goes out to Matt the sound man for making us sound good! After that we went up to Larimore to play two hot summer nights at the street dance. Thanks, Brenda and Eddy for the big welcome! This past week we had the time of our lives at the Shooting Star Casino. We love that place! Another big thank you goes out to Randy and Will for all their help with sound over the week. You are a pleasure to work with every time. I wish you all the best as this summer of fun rolls on-
Love, July 22, 2007 Hi Everybody! Thanks again for visiting TAMILEE.NET! We have been putting on some miles again, and having a blast! We just did a two night Street Dance in Larimore, North Dakota. It was good to be back! It was Ray's first trip to Larimore, and he said "It was fun!" We'll be back in Larimore on August 25 at the Tumbleweed Bar for another Street Dance. Please try to come see us. Last Wednesday and Thursday were at Dakota Sioux Casino in Watertown, South Dakota. I have always loved that place, because they treat us good! It's always fun to work with their soundman Matt! Next week we start at The Shooting Star Casino in Mahnomen... Please come out and see us! It'll be fun! By the way, we have a new member in the band! I bought a new guitar a couple weeks ago! It's a Fender Custom Shop '51 Nocaster. She's doing a great job with us so far! I think she'll be a great addition to the show! I hope you can come and see it soon! My RED Telecaster was getting pretty worn out, It got to be a pretty emotional thing for me too! I was so sad about it! I'd rather go through a bad divorce than wear out another good guitar!!! bah-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha- Until Next Time! THANKS
Your Pal June 4, 2007 Hello Again! We finally got our website changed a bit, I hope you like the changes! Keep checking back too, I've some more things in mind! Speaking of changes, Tami has a new collection of promo pictures online, please take a look and let us know what you think of them! We played last Friday in Thief River, and Saturday in Jamestown. Congratulations to the newlyweds, Michael and Dana! They are a wonderful young couple, and we wish them the very best! We have a week or two off again, then we are playing in Velva North Dakota on June 22 and 23. There's a rodeo going on there and it should be a lot of fun! Thank again for visiting! We had another fun week at The Shooting Star in Mahnomen! I was so excited to be there because they had Charley Pride in concert there on Saturday Night! (What an honor!) Charley sounded great and put on a very good show. Some of his band members even came in to listen to us... I sure hope they enjoyed it! Thanks to each of you for coming to see us too! And thank you for all your kind words!!! We've been very busy lately, and I've got some new promo pictures done. We'll have them up on the site soon... Please keep looking for them and let me know what you think! Also, ask me for a picture at one of our live shows! I also wanted to let you know that We made a small change to the Group. We added Ray Housker on Bass and Keyboards, We are all excited about it, Ray is so talented! We are lucky to have Him on board! Thanks again for stopping by, please come and see us soon! February 19, 2007 Howdy Gang! Another wild and crazy weekend behind us! We made an appearance in International Falls last Saturday night. It was a big 4-day festival they have every winter, it's called "Blast On The Border!" Norm Dakota helped us out on bass for the gig, and he did a terrific job! Norm is from the Grand Rapids, Minnesota area, and He has played more music than most people have heard! He is with the band "Crossroads" (I am sure they rock!) Norm has a great website for both musicians and fans to check out. It has a lot of great information, and it's always fun to read! Visit Weekly Musician here! Thanks again for your help Norm! We have a well deserved week off, then we travel to Prior Lake, Minnesota again! We'll be back at Mystic Lake Casino on Friday and Saturday, March 2 & 3. In other Northern Lights News, I may have to buy a new Telecaster. My favorite one has been acting up lately, It's been giving me a lot of problems. I think it finally realized that it's not a tree anymore!!!! bah-ha-ha-ha-ha Truthfully, I love my Old Red Tele, and I know I'll never find another one like it... I am so sad!!! Your Pal January 1, 2007 Happy New Year from Tami Lee and The Northern Lights! Thanks for the wonderful year everyone! I hope to see you again in 2007. Our New Years show in Fargo was awesome! It was so much fun! We shared the show with another band called "Past Due". They were great! Thanks to everyone for coming out! Also, thanks to Terry from the Silverado band for helping us out! (Sounded great Terry!) I posted some new pictures finally, check them out here... We have two weekends off, then we're back at The Shooting Star in Mahnomen Starting Tuesday, January 16 through Saturday, January 20. Please come out to see us, we always have a great time there!
